IL, – The YWCA Lake County 5th Annual Circle of
Women
Luncheon and Symposium will be held this year on Friday,
September 29 at the
Crowne Plaza in Mundelein.
“This premier fundraising event will bring together hundreds of
philanthropic and career women committed to creating positive change
in the lives of women and girls who are less advantaged,” said
Elizabeth Forbrich, Executive Director of the YWCA Lake County.
“The theme for this year’s symposium is about women achieving
financial independence,” she added.
The symposium, which is geared toward motivating, inspiring and
educating women, starts at
9:00 AM.
The panel of experts will share their experience in an interactive
format with networking immediately following. The luncheon,
sponsored by American Family Insurance, will begin at noon.
Keynote speaker for the luncheon will be Amy S. Hillard,
founder, president and CEO of The ComfortCake Company, LLC., and
author of Tap Into Your Juice – Find Your Gifts, Lose Your Fears,
and Build Your Dreams.

incorporation in 1922 as a residence for young women, the YWCA Lake
County has advocated to improve the lives of local women and their
